Prof. Joanna Golec, PhD, DSc graduated from the Bronisław Czech University of Physical Education in Kraków with a degree in Motor Rehabilitation and obtained the specialization in Rehabilitation in 1998 and 2004. She is the co-author of more than 100 scientific publications in the field of physiotherapy, published in peer-reviewed national and international journals, as well as monographs and books issued by renowned publishers, including the PZWL Medical Publishing House. Professor Golec actively participates in national and international scientific events as a co-organizer of conferences and a member of scientific committees. She is a member of several scientific societies and serves as Vice President of the Małopolska Branch of the Polish Society of Physiotherapy. She combines academic and teaching activities with clinical practice, actively working as a physiotherapist.

Dr. Tomasz Maicki graduated from the Bronisław Czech University of Physical Education in Kraków and is a specialist in physiotherapy. Since 2012, he has been affiliated with the Department of Rehabilitation at the Faculty of Health Sciences of the Jagiellonian University Medical College, where he has held the position of Assistant Professor since 2018. He is the author and co-author of scientific publications in the field of physiotherapy and serves as a reviewer for scientific journals. Dr. Maicki actively participates in conferences, workshops, and training courses, continuously developing his professional competencies. For several years, he has also been a member of scientific committees of conferences organized by the Polish Society of Physiotherapy. He is actively involved in the scientific and organizational activities of the physiotherapy community, serving, among other roles, as Secretary of the National Council of the Polish Society of Physiotherapy and President of its Małopolska Branch.
